Guy F. Riekeman, D.C., was the fourth president of Life University in Marietta, Georgia and is currently Chancellor Emeritus. He has exhibited critical leadership to the chiropractic profession for 5 decades with an uplifting vision, focused energy and a wealth of practical experience. In a dynamically changing world, glutted with conflicting information and roiling with uncertainty, Dr. Riekeman demonstrates a unique ability to articulate meaning and inspire discipline for institutional, professional, and personal success. Dr. Riekeman obtained his chiropractic degree with honors in 1972 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa. He became a chiropractic spokesman, extolling the chiropractic message through award-winning television, video and audio productions. He is an author and has conducted 20 World tours for professionals and the public. As a leader for the chiropractic centennial celebration in 1995, he produced the nationally aired TV documentary “From Simple Beginnings." Dr.Riekeman created companies and seminar programs to improve chiropractic practice and facilitate integrity based personal growth. Quest, founded in 1987, became one of the largest and most widely acclaimed of such
professional enterprises. Currently, he has produced the first ever lifestyle app for patients/public called My Lifestyle iQ (MLiQ) and opened a neuro-based state of the art clinic, Chiropractic Lifestyle Studios.
Dr. Riekeman continues to be highly sought as a motivational speaker at both national and
international programs.

Matt Doyle (Chiropractor)

Dr Doyle has been in full time family practice for 19 years, in the UK and Australia. He and his wife have run their practice in South East Queensland for the past 11 years. He’s presented workshops on the care of infants and pregnant women throughout Europe and Australasia.

He is a Paediatric Chiropractic Fellow through the ACA Australasian Institute of Chiropractic Education (2022) and is active on the ACA AICE Paediatric Committee and ACA Northern Committee. He has 10 peer reviewed publications with a particular focus around the chiropractic care of infants. He has a Masters in Paediatric Chiropractic from AECC and Bournemouth University, a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education, and is currently completing a mixed methods PhD in Chiropractic Philosophy in Chiropractic Education. He is active as a Board Member of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation, supporting vertebral subluxation-oriented research.

He still likes playing basketball in a regular old guys half court run, and is trying to keep up with his kids on their mountain bikes!

After working as the creative director for various advertising agencies in Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco, Mr. Esteb was introduced to chiropractic in 1981 when he was asked to help write and produce what became known as the Peter Graves video for Renaissance International.

Later, he got together with two chiropractors and formed Back Talk Systems. For 10 years he was the creative force behind this patient education resource company.

In 1999 Mr. Esteb sold his interest in Back Talk Systems to start Patient Media, Inc., focusing on patient education and communications tools that feature high impact graphics.

In 2004 he co-founded Perfect Patients, an interactive website service which manages the online reputations of several thousand chiropractors in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

He is the author of 12 books that explore the doctor/patient relationship from a patient’s point of view. His weekly blog posts at PatientMedia.com and Monday Morning Motivation emails are ways he shares his insights as a chiropractic patient and advocate.

When he isn’t writing about chiropractic or speaking about chiropractic, he can be found thinking about chiropractic—from a patient’s point of view.

Exploring and enjoying ways to eat well, learn and thrive together keeps this little (BIG) family busy and inspired from day-to-day. They are now all living and free-ranging on their organic fruit farm - a passion project - down under.

Genevieve Dharamaraj is a pioneering healthcare professional specializing in functional neurology. With a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Chiropractic, she holds a Fellowship in Childhood Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Genevieve is a published co-author, focusing on neuroplasticity in children. She's known for her case study on autism published in the Asia Pacific Chiropractic Journal. Genevieve is also an accomplished triathlete and trail runner. As the owner of Nurturing Brain Potential, she leads a team dedicated to unlocking cognitive potential. Genevieve's journey includes being the first female chiropractor in Malaysia and completing an Ironman. She has advanced training in autism management and has shadowed experts internationally. Under her leadership, Nurturing Brain Potential has seen remarkable success in helping nonverbal individuals transition to verbal communication.

Dr. Stew Bittman is beloved in the chiropractic community around the world. He has spent 40 years in chiropractic, practising for 24 years (12 of those with a box on the wall), and more recently coaching, speaking and leading workshops. Stew spent 15 years learning, travelling, speaking and teaching alongside the great chiropractic leader, Jim Sigafoose, and since then has brought his own unique brand of wisdom and love to the chiropractic world. Stew is one of the most perennially popular speakers at ChiroEurope and at the In8 Summit in Australia.

Vismai Schonfelder (Chiropractor)

Vismai Schonfelder graduated from Melbourne, practises using SOT and studied a lot of paediatrics while his children were growing up. In 1996, he has a classic near-death experience and this shaped his chiropractic work. 18 months of rehab, learning how to walk and talk again was humbling. Vismai built an associate model office just north of Amsterdam from 1999, until 2013, which is when he and his wife, Jyoti, sold it. Vismai has only seen 2-5 new people per year in the last 5 years and his PVA was above 2000. Recently, Vismai finished a 5-year break from chiropractic, while he meandered through the world, homeschooling his children Dali and Finn.

Vismai has written 4 books, the newest called ‘Keep Your Clients’ and currently practises in Singapore.

Aside from his love of chiropractic, Vismai’s family loves to surf. He's a big fan of the arts, especially music, architecutre, fashion and attending the ballet.

Dr. Brian Kelly is an international speaker, executive coach and chiropractor.

He has had a fascinating career from serving the underprivileged in India on several occasions, meeting W.H.O. officials in Geneva, Switzerland, and working as a professional musician touring with the Temptations and the Four Tops in his spare time.

He is dedicated to helping people understand and reach their potential in health, and in life.

In his professional capacity as a chiropractor, he works with elite athletes (returning from injury and peak performance), celebrities, and has helped people with a range of health issues from Concussion to M.S.

He has been the President of 2 chiropractic colleges (NZ and USA) and is the past president of the Australian Spinal Foundation, and a Board member for over a decade.

He is currently living and practising in Auckland, New Zealand.

Nimrod has been serving as a Head of Unit in the Barcelona College of Chiropractic, was a long-standing board member of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation, the chiropractic association of Australia (NSW state branch), equivalent positions in the UK and Spain, and practices in Barcelona.

Dr. Alice Cade is a practicing chiropractor, lecturer in clinical neuroscience, and has recently completed her Ph.D. in mild traumatic brain injury. Alice has worked closely with the New Zealand College of Chiropractic over the last 18 years to develop their neuroscience programme, diagnosis, and critical thinking skills. She is deeply interested in enhancing the student experience by way of improving teaching and learning techniques and refining the curriculum.

Alice's current research interests lie in oculomotor function after traumatic brain injury. She is also passionate about translating research into a format that is accessible for the average person.

Dr. Lou Edwards is a dedicated chiropractor and business owner of Results Align Chiropractic, based in Abingdon. She specialises in pediatrics, pregnancy, and animal chiropractic care.
She is committed to Chiropractic care and improving the profession. She has done this through co founding ‘The Chiro Calling’, a philosophy group which grew to 70 attendees within 12 months. Through this, students have been sponsored to attend events like the UCA, fostering growth and development of future Chiropractors.
She also is a 1:1 business coach and runs seminars on Initial assessments, reports of findings and general communication.

Graduating from AECC in 1998, Connell started working at Harrow Chiropractic and has been there ever since. He purchased the busy practice in 2001. Chiropractic has provided everything that Connell and his family has needed. It’s enabled him to open a satellite practice in Shepherds Bush, get involved in Monterey Gin and facilitate his love for snowboarding.

Connell won the DC of the Year Award in 2023 and truly loves to show people how chiropractic can help them regain and improve their quality of life.

Laurie began working as a CA in early 2020 for Tweed Chiropractic Clinic.
Her Chiropractic journey began after meeting Dr. Donald Francis whilst working on his farm and
struggling with a number of injuries.
Originally believing she was applying for a generic “Receptionist” role, Laurie had no idea just how much Chiropractic would profoundly change her life, and how incredibly fulfilling the role of a
Chiropractic Assistant could be.
Laurie was promoted to the role of Practice Manager over two years ago, and is responsible for running two high volume Practices in the heart of the Scottish Borders, Team Training, Business Management and Recruitment…whilst still making sure she has time on Front Desk doing what she loves best; engaging with Practice Members.
Laurie hopes to continue to grow within the Chiropractic Community, and is so excited to have the opportunity to speak in the CA Section of the UCA Chiropractic Essentials Conference in October 2024!

Kate's passion for Chiropractic comes from witnessing many chiropractic miracles, her mission is to introduce as many people to chiropractic care as possible and for chiropractic to be seen as primary health care by all.
